Marcela Assis works in the negotiation, implementation and structuring of projects with environmental impact, especially in the energy and mining sectors. Post graduate (Postgraduate Course ) in “Energy Law and Business in the Electric Sector” from CEDIN – Center for Studies in Law and Business, mainly carries out regulatory and environmental consultancy work, which includes the preparation of legal opinions on regulatory (energy and mining) and environmental matters , interface with municipal, state and federal bodies (ANEEL, ANM and IBAMA), assistance in compliance environmental and regulatory legislation, among others. It also participates in administrative and judicial demands, such as representation in sanctioning and non-sanctioning regulatory administrative processes, infraction notices, environmental licensing, terms of commitment and TACs.

Has participated in legal audit processes (due diligence), assisting in risk assessment and quantification of contingencies related to environmental and regulatory law (energy and mining).

He is a member of IBDE – Brazilian Institute of Energy Law Studies and the ESG study committee of IBRADEMP – Brazilian Institute of Business Law.
