Guilherme focuses his professional activity on the technology market, personal data protection and information security, in addition to having extensive experience in commercial contracts, intellectual property and innovative business models.

Guilherme advises startups and large companies in a wide range of sectors, focusing on the digital health, fintech, crypto-economics and edtech markets, on demands related to feasibility analysis and risks related to new business models, structuring of digital e-commerce operations. -commerce, highly complex commercial contracts, advice on operations digitization projects and digital platforms. Guilherme is a certified specialist in Data Protection (CIPP-E, CIPM, CDPO-Br), also working in consultancy and adapting projects to general and sectoral standards on privacy and data protection, having therefore been recognized as a Fellow of Information Privacy (FIP/IAPP).

In addition to his work as a lawyer, Guilherme has a PhD and Master's degree from the University of São Paulo and is a guest professor on postgraduate courses in Law and Technology (EBRADI, POLI, EPD). He was the author and co-author of several works and articles in the area of ​​Technology, including “Data Protection Officer: theory and practice according to LGPD and GDPR” (Revista dos Tribunais, 2020), “Data Protection: challenges and solutions in adapting to the law” (Forense, 2020), “Expanding International Law” (Arraes, 2019), “International Legal Cooperation” (Thomson Reuters, 2018), among others. He participated as a researcher in several research programs, such as the Center for Studies in International Courts (USP), 1st Privacy Research Group of the Rio Institute of Technology and Society (ITSRio), Innovation Research and Teaching Group (FGV/SP ), in addition to technical and study committees from institutions such as IASP, LEC, and OAB.
