Profile

Eugênio works mainly in the areas of technology and innovation, personal data protection, information security and intellectual property. Thus, Eugênio advises companies on demands related to technology contracts, analysis of risks and impacts of disruptive business models and consultancy demands involving intellectual property.

Furthermore, he is a member of the IAPP (International Association of Privacy and Data Protection Professionals) and a certified specialist in Data Protection (Certified Information Privacy Professional/Europe – CIPP/E), working in the area of ​​privacy and data protection with a focus on in structuring and executing projects to comply with privacy and data protection standards, such as the General Data Protection Law (LGPD). Furthermore, it works on consultancy projects involving the topic of personal data protection.

In addition to his work as a lawyer, Eugênio holds a Master's degree from the Federal University of Minas Gerais and is an assistant professor at Data Privacy Brasil Ensino, where he teaches the course “Labor Relations and Data Protection”. He is also co-author of works and articles in the area of ​​Technology and Innovation, highlighting the recent work “Information Revolution and a new Law: reflections from Luciano Floridi” (Initia Via, 2022).
