Elias acts strategically in the negotiation and structuring of projects directly related to Public and Regulatory Law, especially involving Environmental Law, Energy Law and Mining Law.
Develops regulatory and environmental consultancy work, covering: preparation of Legal Opinions related to these areas; direct interface with municipal, state and federal bodies (IBAMA, ANEEL, ANM); advice on M&A operations (in regulatory and environmental aspects); consultancy in compliance environmental and regulatory legislation; various consultations involving regulatory and environmental matters, among others.
Participates in legal audit processes (due diligence), assessing risks and quantifying contingencies related to Environmental and Regulatory Law (energy and mining).
Academically, he graduated in Law from the Federal University of Minas Gerais (UFMG) and will continue his studies with a focus on improving the work he does in his field.
